Here's a small note :

Most of our church youth have gone/are going to go to RBS..

Well, here's the official forum site : http://forum.rbs.org.my/viewforum.php?f=1

You can :

1) Keep up with your RBS buddies if you have attended RBS in whatever year.
2) Ask pertinent questions about anything you want to know about RBS. Seniors can answer. Or else, you can just learn from experience yourself... Jkjk... Ahaha.

Note to all blog readers :

The bulletin on the right-hand which tells the dates, time and venue for various events that we'll be having will be updated... Almost as soon as we plan them, which means when I or somebody else gets home and on-9 to post it up.

So keep checking back for events, kay!!!

P.S : To all those who are posting stuff up on this blog, please write your name at the bottom of the post - thanks!!! =)

Carolling at Pyramid

Make up!!! Ladies being prepared by xin xin and su yin before carolling.

back row l-r: wei lyn, jerry, wei shern , amanda

middle row l-r: nyuet fen, ee may, melody, josiah

front: jonathan

not in the pic: joshua, xin xin, kwo kuang, su yin, nadia, kym, brian, sean, mervyn, michael, lydia.
Twas a good experience indeed being given the opportunity to sing and praise God publicly in Pyramid. However, it was kinda let down for most of us as 4 out of 5 places we sang were filled with barely 10 people each. Nonetheless, it was uplifting for some of us as we sang spontaneously to passer-bys who wanted to hear more ( second pic) while waiting for the others to get their cars. Ironically, that "un-planned" singing attracted more people who were earnestly eager to hear. So that's kinda it, not forgetting presenting in front of 45 gorgeous ladies from all over the world, competing for the Miss Tourism title. No pictures taken with them tho, sad case.

To keep in prayer :
  1. The non-Christians who came for our Youth Rally 2008; pray that the seeds have been sown and keep reaching out to them!!!
  2. Pray for the GKEC thing... KGH has/is starting a Sunday School in Setia Alam - pray for the teachers, and potential Sunday School kids, that their parents would let them come.

It's CHRISTMAStime!!!

Christmas is coming!!!

What do we envision when we hear the word Christmas?

Do we think about gaily-wrapped gifts, christmas trees, Santa Claus, family gatherings, candy canes, Christmas carols, candle light?

Holly? Christmas dinners? Christmas-oriented church meetings?

To some of us, these are the things that come part-and-parcel with the whole Christmas celebration.

Enjoyable parts which we look forward to every year.

But, dear blog-readers, even as we celebrate this festive season with all it's enjoyable trimmings, let's not forget what we're actually celebrating :

Jesus' Birthday!!!
And not only that, but also the fufilment of the prophesies which foretold the coming of the Messiah to this world to take away our sins!!!
So let's not all get caught up so much in this celebration till' we forget, kay?
