About Today's Event...

"HOW come I did not see YOU here wan??" says ruthless Mary

"Ya ya you know right, actually ahhh...YOU should've come ya'know" says Mic

Miss Wei Yee (is that the right spelling?sry!! =) )
*winner of the worst dress female category*

*Alex the winner for the worst dress male category*

*there are vids too of the chicken dance and the singing competition, want it to be uploaded here?*

Since ws posted the last post, I guess that now's my turn again... Ahaha

New Year and Chinese New Year celebration all rolled into one!!! =)

Well, here's the runup/down of the event :

We'd started late, as always about 4.30pm. Turnout was okay, about 25-30 people. Josiah Hoi chaired, Jerry on the drums and Mervyn on the piano.

Uncle cc gave a short sharing, and we'd proceeded with games. Game Master was Michael.

Played games like the 'bing bang boom', which wasn't such a blast and the song game, where Michael gives one word and certain unluckly people have to sing a verse of the song that has the word in it.

Lots of blank faces. I know I was blank. And terribly out of tune. Ahaha. Whatever.

Then we'd had pizza for refreshment and gift exchange. There were things from 'squishies' to chocolate to mugs to biscuits. No one brought the usual toilet roll today - I think someone forgot... Ahaha.

Worst-dressed was 'Alex-is'(not me - Alex's sister... lol) and Alex. Ahaha. Brother and sister won.

Meeting ended about 5-something to 6-something like that.

New people were : J-Shaun, James(Soon Chia), Xiau Huey, Melanie, Mary-Ruth, Elsa and Joanne.

Don't forget next week's Board Games' Fest!!! We're also having captain ball after that, if the weather permits, so dress accordingly!!! =)

*Note : Songs chosen for P+W should be more familiar songs especially for outreach events. So that our own youth can support also.

*Nonetheless, it was rather a good start for the year as Jo had the privilege the song lead for his first time! Good job Jo!* Btw i kinda liked 'devotion' the chorus bit.
